Historically when I say the word ‘budget’ I’m generally met with a groan! And I get it, it’s not the sexiest topic in the world of finance.
But let me introduce you to a new twist on budgeting that I’ve recently come across, it’s called loud budgeting.
Loud budgeting is all about making some noise and owning where you plan to spend your money this year. You are the creator of your own life after all, and with loud budgeting you get to decide what portion of your funds to allocate for creating the most incredible experiences that make you feel alive.
If music is your thing, loud budget for live experiences…front-row seats at a concert, tickets to a music festival, a night at the theatre?
Perhaps you have a wanderlust heart and crave adventure and travel? Or maybe it’s time to invest in yourself and your growth with a skill-boosting workshop or course? You might even have a desire to budget for random acts of kindness to touch the lives of other people and spread some love.
While yes of course budgeting is about numbers, it’s also about so much more. So, include in your loud budget the things that light up your life and encourage you to turn up the dial and live life louder.
